The 61st International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia, In Minor Keys by Koyo Kouoh, opens on Saturday 9 May.

The Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement goes to the director Emma Dante; the Silver Lion goes to the Greek-Albanian director Mario Banushi. Awards ceremony on Friday 12 June at 12 noon CEST.
