The Venice Film Market of the 70th Venice International Film Festival will be located at the first floor of the Excelsior Hotel of the Lido di Venezia and it will join and reinforce the Industry Office, which in turn will continue to function as it has in past years throughout the entire Venice Film Festival, offering many services to the guests (Booking for Industry Services no later than August 2nd, 2013 ).
The Venice Film Market will offer a Digital Video Library, a Industry Business Centre  with information desk, Internet positions and Wi-Fi network, the Industry Club, a new and exclusive meeting area for producers, buyers and sellers and the Exhibition Area (Expo Venice). On the occasion of the second edition of the Venice Film Market, some screening rooms will be available to the exclusive access of the Market Screenings.
 
The Industry Office provides three kinds of accreditation: Industry Gold, Industry Trade  and Industry Professional. Accreditation is assigned according to individual professional activity.
 
All the Industry Trade/Gold pass holders will have the access to the Market Screenings.
Industry Trade accreditation is reserved for specific professional categories and offers numerous advantages, such as free access to the Digital Video Library to view the works presented through the Venice Film Market and films from the official selection, the Business Centre, the Exhibition Area and full access to all services offered by the Industry Office. It also includes  priority admission to the Press & Industry screenings of the festival and the possibility to see all films in the official selection.
Company details will be published in the Industry Guide, which will also be available online and is updated in real-time as attendance and contact information of delegates is received. When collecting their accreditation pass, Industry Trade participants will also receive the Festival Catalogue and the Digital Video Library Catalogue.
Industry Gold further gives exclusive access to the Industry Club at the Excelsior Hotel, to specific services and first priority admission to Press & Industry screenings of the festival.
Industry Professional participants have the possibility to see all the films in the official selection of the festival, second priority access to Press & Industry screenings and free entry to the Exhibition Area.
 
All Industry participants are welcome to participate at the Happy Hour and at all events organised through the Venice Film Market and have discounted prices in the main hotels, restaurants and shops on the Lido island.
The complete VFM – Industry Office programme 2013 will be given to all Industry participants.

Market Screenings
On the occasion of the second edition of the Venice Film Market some screening rooms will be available to the exclusive access of the Market Screenings for all Industry Trade/Gold pass holders.
All producers and sales agents are welcomed to send to the office their titles before 2nd August  2013. Titles must have been produced after 1st January 2013.
 
Promo-Reels Special Screenings
Promo-Reels Special Screenings will be confirmed and available to all Industry Gold buyers: two exclusive special screenings in one of the festival’s theatre gathering a selection of promo-reels and teasers of brand new films shot during the 2013 summer.
This initiative should allow all buyers to see in exclusivity the first footages of films which should be completed for 2014.
All producers and sales agents are welcomed to send to the office those teasers and promo-reels before August 9th, 2013.
 
Digital Video Library (DVL)
The 70th Venice International Film Festival offers to Industry Trade / Gold participants access to the Digital Video Library to view films from the official selection of the festival and titles submitted through the Venice Film Market. Priority admission is reserved for Buyers.
All accredited production and world sales companies may submit titles no later than August 2nd, 2013, produced after September 10th, 2012.
The Digital Video Library is carried out in cooperation with Expo Venice.  
The DVL will increase the visibility of the presented film at the festival, offering an efficient and safe platform on which to present it.
Simultaneous playback of the same film by multiple viewers, immediate access to all information on the film thanks to user-friendly interface and viewing reports for sales agents and producers on who has been accessing their film.
In the framework of new partnerships, some special sections gathering a selection of recommended titles will be included in the Digital Video Library.
A DVL Catalogue will gather all the artistic and technical information as well as the rights availabilities and all details of the right holders of all films shown in the Digital Video Library. This Catalogue will be available on line as well as on a hard copy given to all Industry Trade / Gold participants.
 
Promotion and publicity
To promote their company at the festival, all Industry Trade/Gold participants are welcome to distribute flyers, brochures and invitations for events free of charge at the  Industry Club and Industry Business Centre areas.
They can also purchase the following services:
  • Exhibition stall at the Exhibition Area.
  • Gadgets, brochures and notebooks to be distributed in the Industry bags that all pass holders receive upon arrival.
  • Advertising pages in the Industry Guide, in the DVL Catalogue.
  • Organisation of conference, round-tables and promotional activities.
  • Signposting in the Industry Business Centre, in the Industry Club and the Exhibition Area.
  • Slots for Trailers shown all day long in a loop on TV screens laid in the Industry Business Centre, the Industry Club and the Exhibition Area.
 
Meeting and Business Opportunities
The Industry Club is exclusively reserved to Industry Gold pass holders and their guests. It is equipped with an information desk, Internet and Wi-Fi access, quiet and comfortable meeting areas. In addition, the Venice Film Market will offer daily breakfast, snacks and drinks in the Industry Club lounge.
The Industry Business Centre is open exclusively to Industry Trade/ Gold participants. It is fully equipped with an information desk, Internet and Wi-Fi access.
 
All Industry participants have full access to the Exhibition Area, which gathers stalls and a special room for national and international panels, and to the Happy Hour organised through the Venice Film Market.
