Location of the exhibition space: Palazzo Malipiero on the Grand Canal has begun in recent years a renovation of its interior so as to make it suitable for artists staying in Venice and looking for a place where to live, work, and exhibit their works surrounded by the city’s inspiring atmosphere. The exhibition spaces available in the Palazzo are partly used by National Participations; 3 of them are currently available at San Marco 3198 as one exhibition space. Size amounts to 180 sq.m. (second floor), 130 sq.m. (first floor), 70 sq.m. (ground floor).
How to get there / Transport of the works of art: the venue is located near Campo San Samuele (Actv vaporetto line 2, stop: San Samuele), where banks are available for loading/unloading the artworks. Elevators will be available in 2019 to ease the moving of the artworks. All spaces are compliant with the Italian law as to safety measures.
Facilities: wi-fi, open spaces for inaugurations and cocktails, accommodation for guests (upon payment), lighting with spotlights, heating, bathrooms accessible to disabled visitors, private courtyard, private entrance.
