Performance: Matriarchy by Pauliina Feodoroff
Matriarchy by Pauliina Feodoroff is a collective performance of healing and renewal, conceived as a process of rematriation to return to a world of kinship between people, land, waters, spirits, and other-than human beings.
Matriarchy is commissioned by Office for Contemporary Art Norway (OCA) for ‘The Sámi Pavilion. It is conceived in collaboration with Terike Haapoja, Birit Haarla, Katja Haarla, Teuri Haarla, Marja Helander, Satu Herrala, Hanna Parry, Outi Pieski, Eséte Eshetu Sutinen, Snowchange Cooperative, Ulyana Yulina, What Form(s) Can an Atonement Take.
