Guided tours
Venues: Giardini and/or Arsenale
Private guided tours for adult groups last approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes per venue. They are available in the following languages: Italian, English, French, German, Spanish, and Russian. Other languages are available on request and subject to availability. The maximum number of participants per guide is 25. Larger groups will be split with several guides.
To benefit from the reduced-price ticket of € 18 (VAT included), the group must consist of a minimum of 10 adults. The ticket will allow visitors to visit both exhibition venues once, even on different days. One free ticket is available for each person accompanying someone with a certified disability.
Guided tours include an introduction to the 19th International Architecture Exhibition, Intelligens. Natural. Artificial. Collective, a visit to the installations of the Main Exhibition combined with a selection of National Participations in the Giardini and/or a visit to the Corderie and Artiglierie at the Arsenale combined with an introduction to the National Participations. It is possible to book and request a customised tour. It is also possible to book specific thematic in-depth discussions on themes to be agreed upon, such as the history of La Biennale di Venezia, the architecture of the exhibition venues, the history and organisation of the International Architecture Exhibition and the structure of the 19th International Architecture Exhibition.
The fee may vary depending on the duration of the activity requested.
For families, it is possible to book a dedicated, tailor-made guided tour for adults with children or teenagers. These activities, some of which are interactive, focus on selected themes and works from the Exhibition.
During the Theatre and Dance Festivals it will be possible to combine the booking of a guided tour with participation in one of the scheduled performances.
