Guided tours and lectures
Venues: Giardini and/or Arsenale
Private guided tours for University groups last approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes per venue. They are available in the following languages: Italian, English, French, German, Spanish, and Russian. Other languages are available on request and subject to availability. Larger groups will be split with several guides.
University groups with at least 10 participants will receive a reduced-price entrance ticket. The ticket will allow you visitors visit both exhibition venues once, possibly on different days. The cost is € 15 including VAT per admission ticket.
The same rate is applied to teachers. Free admission for each accompanying person of a student with a certified disability.
Guided tours include an introduction to the 19th International Architecture Exhibition, Intelligens. Natural. Artificial. Collective, a visit to the installations of the Main Exhibition combined with a selection of National Participations at the Giardini and/or a visit to the Corderie and Artiglierie at the Arsenale combined with an introduction to National Participations. It is possible to book and request a personalised tour.
It is also possible to book lectures and specific thematic in-depth studies on themes to be agreed upon, such as the history of La Biennale di Venezia, the architecture of the exhibition venues, the history and organisation of the International Architecture Exhibition and the structure of the 19th International Architecture Exhibition.
The fee may vary according to the duration of the activity requested.
During the Theatre and Dance Festivals it will be possible to combine the booking of a guided tour with attendance of one of the scheduled performances.
