Synopsis
Pierre, 50, raises his two sons alone. The three of them are very close.
Louis, the youngest, is about to leave home to go to university in Paris.
Fus, slightly older, is becoming secretive.
Fascinated by violence, he becomes active in far-right extremist groups, at the very opposite of his father’s values.
Between them, there is love and hate, until tragedy hits.
Directors’ Statement
Would I continue to love my child if his ideas became diametrically opposed to mine? Would he remain my son, or would he be someone who changes so much that I no longer recognize him, wanting to disown him? Can we forgive everything?
At a political moment when extremes are winning the day, these are the questions that inspired us to make this film. This story of family, political convictions, shame and reconciliation is also the story of our country.
