SYNOPSIS
Making Michael Jackson’s Thriller is a behind the scenes look at Michael Jackson, director John Landis, Academy Award-winning makeup artist Rick Baker and the rest of the all-star team who created Thriller and also features excerpts of other iconic Michael Jackson moments including the Motown 25 performance of Billie Jean and Michael’s Beat It short film. The documentary was premiered on television and available on VHS from 1983-1990 but has never been relicensed for television or available for purchase in any format since 1990. The screening in Venice will mark the first time that the award-winning documentary has ever been shown in a theater.
