La Biennale di Venezia aims to carbon neutrality. This involves reducing and offsetting the emission of carbon dioxide through targeted actions that require the involvement and attention of all Festival participants. We would like to thank you in advance for your collaboration in achieving this ambitious goal, which will be reached through the individual behaviour of each of us.
Italian and foreign students of any course of study, including PhD students and all 18+ high school students, can apply for Cinema accreditation upon presentation of proof of University enrolment for the current academic year or school enrolment certificate issued by the Institute.

Payment of the accreditation must be made exclusively online.
After the payment, the accreditation typology cannot be changed unless a new accreditation request and payment is made. Refund of the previous payment will not be possible.
The booking of the 82nd Venice International Film Festival screenings will only be available to pass holders who have paid for their accreditation.
SERVICES OFFERED
Cinema accreditation is an access title that offers the possibility to view all films of the Festival marked as “Tutti gli accrediti” (All pass holders), the access to the projects of the Venice Immersive section at Isola del Lazzaretto Vecchio (Venice Immersive Island), the access to the Exhibition Areas and to the free access conferences organized by the Venice Production Bridge
Access to the screenings is allowed after the online booking on the dedicated platform.
The 7 pm official screenings in Sala Grande are exclusively for the public.
Cinema accreditation also allows you to benefit from:
· accommodations at special prices in affiliated university residences for the entire duration of the Festival. Reservation will be possible only after paying the accreditation and will be confirmed upon availability and according to the request chronological order;
· free public transportation on the Lido MC, V, A, C and CA bus lines and on the MC (Ferrovia-Lido Casinò) and 20 (S. Zaccaria-Lido Casinò) water bus lines, for the duration of the 82nd Venice International Film Festival; access to the free public transport service is only possible via the chip on paper provided along with the accreditation badge;
· discount on the cover price of the Venice Film Festival catalogue;
· discount on tickets to the 19th International Architecture Exhibition (Giardini and Arsenale 10th May - 23rd November 2025) and participation in the free guided tour of the Exhibition.
The screening schedule will be available on the website from mid-August and in the official programme which will be handed out with the accreditation badge.
The accreditation will be valid for the entire duration of the 82nd Venice International Film Festival. Please note that access to the screening rooms will only be possible by showing your accreditation and reservation.
The following data will be requested in the online accreditation form:
· contact details of the applicant and ID data;
· passport photo in JPG or PNG format;
· updated copy of your academic transcript for the current academic year, or copy of the payment receipt of your tuition fees for the current academic year or, in the case of over 18 years of age High School students, a copy of the certificate of enrolment issued by the institution or the final report card for the current school year.
These documents must necessarily include the applicant personal data, the University or College details and attest the academic and scholastic activity during the current year.
The Registration Office will evaluate all requests and will send a confirmation e-mail, together with payment information.
We remind you that the request must be accompanied by the appropriate documentation as outlined by the online procedures and must therefore be received complete in all parts by the deadline.
Please note that the accreditation badge, digital entry, can be paid exclusively with traceable payment systems online, such as credit and debit card or other payment method indicated on the e-commerce page.
No refund is possible in case of non-attendance or cancellation.
Loss or theft of the accreditation badge must be reported to the local police authority. The badge will only be replaced against renewed payment and within the times of the issuing office.
Badges are issued at the full discretion of the La Biennale di Venezia.
