Synopsis
Pepa, a voice-over actor, is dumped by Iván, her lover and colleague, in a message he has left on her answering machine and her life seems to be falling apart. In addition, she has discovered that she is pregnant and tries in every way possible to contact Iván to tell him this. While living through this drama, Pepa receives innumerable visitors at her apartment: her friend Candela, Iván’s son Carlos and his fiancée Marisa, two policemen, the technician of the phone company and even Lucía, Iván’s wife: all in a stream of unforeseen and absurd revelations and situations. Finally Pepa discovers that Iván is about to leave for Stockholm with his new lover, and that his wife, armed with a pistol, intends to go to the airport to kill him.
