Lisbeth Gruwez / Claire Chevallier / Voetvolk - Piano Works Debussy
Description
For the first time, Lisbeth Gruwez applies herself to classical music, and specifically the “immaterial” music of Claude Debussy with pianist Claire Chevallier. She confronts it with her particular language of movement, elaborated in the most authentic groove of contemporary dance as an ideal harbor within her artistic journey.
Lisbeth Gruwez
“I look more and more into the possibilities of organic choreography. It has more poetry for me than representational choreography. It’s also a matter of thinking about what you have to do, instead of thinking about what is expected of you. To dare to stand vertical, no matter what”.
