How can I buy tickets to access the Architecture Exhibition?
Tickets can be purchased only online on www.labiennale.org. Certain special types of tickets, such as free tickets or accreditations for people residing in Venice, must be purchased contacting booking@labiennale.org

I am a student/professional, do I have the right to receive any educational credits?
Before you purchase your ticket, contact your university/your professional association and find out about their credit policies and procedures.

Can I buy my reduced-price ticket online?
All tickets must be purchased online, including reduced-price tickets. Remember, however, to have some document with you, on the day of your visit, which can justify the type of concession you have requested, otherwise you might be denied access to the exhibition.

To have a € 16 fee, do I need to be a student and also under 26?
The € 16 ticket can be purchased by all students no matter what their age is and by whoever is not older than 26 y.o. In order to purchase a reduced-price ticket you need a valid ID.

Is it possible to purchase tickets using a Bonus Studenti?
It is possible to buy your ticket through the 18app. Every student will be entitled to the purchase of their own ticket only. The ticket will be personal and associated to a single student. The purchase code will be generated by the app under the heading “Eventi Culturali”.

Does the ticket grant access to collateral events and pavilions in town?
Most collateral events are free. A few, though, may require visitors to purchase an admission ticket in loco.

If I buy the combined Architecture + Dance/Music/Theatre, do I have to visit the exhibition on the same day as the show?
You can visit the exhibition also on a different day, not necessarily on the very same day, except in very specific cases, when it will be indicated clearly.

I am a disabled person: what is my ticket fee?
Disabled persons may buy tickets available with different fees. Care-givers accompanying visitors who have a certified form of disability have the right to access the exhibition for free and can pick up their free tickets at Exhibition Infopoints, if they show the disability certificates of the person they are accompanying.

How do I get a free ticket for a 0-6 child?
Free children tickets can be downloaded in digital version while purchasing the ticket typologies Intero, Residenti, over 65, by clicking on “omaggio bambino”. You must buy 1 ticket of the event type every time you ask for one free child ticket.

Is it possible to visit the two Exhibition venues on different days?
Yes, regular tickets grant access to both Exhibition venues once, on the same day or on different days. Visit days need not be consecutive. For admission policies related to accreditations, read the accreditation description carefully before you purchase it.

Do I have to select the date of my visit?
It is not necessary anymore to select the date of your visit, it is sufficient to purchase your ticket and show up at the Exhibition access points with it.

I am unable to purchase my ticket online, the screen turns white when I confirm my purchase: why?
It probably depends on the browser you are using. Try with a different browser: the problem should disappear.

I have received an email with purchase confirmation. How can I print my tickets?
Tickets purchased online can be retrieved at the following link: www.vivaticket.it > View Receipt by filling in your transaction code, thereby obtaining your ticket in pdf format, which you can print and show at the access points.

Where can I buy tickets with a group fee (min 10 participants)?
Groups wishing to visit the exhibition autonomously, using reduced-price group tickets, must purchase group tickets on our website www.labiennale.org

How can I purchase a guided tour?
Private guided tours can be booked filling in the form on www.labiennale.org possibly 15 days before the date of your visit. Our staff will give you feedback within 7 working days to confirm or not your choice, based on availability. All private tours must be paid in advance.
Educational operators will accompany groups up to 20 participants. Larger groups will be split up and accompanied by different operators. Costs mentioned on our website are per operator. Guided tours at stated times are dedicated to visitors who are not organised as groups; they take place on stated days and at stated times and can be booked on www.labiennale.org, subject to place availability.

In which languages are guided tours available?
Guided tours at stated times are available in Italian and English. Private tours are available in Italian, English, German, Spanish, French, and other languages. For info about availability in other languages, please write to promozione@labiennale.org

What is the timetable of guided tours at stated times? Is the admission fee to the exhibition included in the fee of guided tours at states times?
Find out about timetable and availability of guided tours at stated times on www.labiennale.org . The fee is € 7 per person per venue (€ 7.50 with pre-sale commission). Admission fee is not included in the price of the tour.

What activities are available for youngsters and families?
Special activities are dedicated to families, to help them discover and explore the 17th International Architecture Exhibition and its venues. Activities are available in Italian and in 4 foreign languages as private tours. They are also available every Saturday and Sunday, in Italian, at 4 pm (check timetable and availability on www.labiennale.org).

What is the difference between Giardini and Arsenale exhibition venues? Where should one begin one’s visit?
The two venues are independent but complementary, because they jointly make up one Exhibition. There is no prescription about what venue to visit first. Admission tickets grant access to both venues, independently of the order of visit.

Is a cloakroom/luggage deposit available? Is there a fee for it?
There is a cloakroom at Giardini only and the service is free of charge. It is not possible to leave mid/large size luggage. Only small-size objects are admitted, such as purses, jackets and umbrellas.

That is only possible if your ticket is of the accreditation type. Regular tickets grant access to each exhibition venue only once.
