Seven neophytes undergo torturous hazing rituals to be accepted into Alpha Kappa Omega, the ‘best fraternity’ on their university campus. Their brotherhood is put to the ultimate test when conflicts arise with a rival fraternity.
I am both happy and troubled that a film like Batch ’81 still resonates today in my country. It tackles the fascist mindset as well as strongman rule, both of which have come back to us. (2017)
