Synopsis

Eleven Eleven is an original, multilinear narrative experience designed from the ground up for VR and AR. The story is set on a fictional planet that is 11 minutes and 11 seconds away from an extinction-level event. Inspired by immersive theatre, users must follow a group interconnected characters as they try to make it to safety, or face what could be their final moments. Follow each character to uncover their story, then follow them all to unlock the whole story.

Directors’ Statement

Our goal with Eleven Eleven was to develop a new format for narrative storytelling in VR and AR. Rather than relying on conventions from traditional film and television, we started with a blank slate in order to make unbiased decisions that were best suited for this medium, based on the current state of the technology available to consumers.
