Sit inside some of the rarest blooms on our planet, or be beguiled by the bloodthirsty sundew. Dive inside a microscope to see seeds in incredible detail. Be consumed by fungi; one of the most gruesome yet essential organisms on our earth. Witness the battle cry of a Pine tree and become entrapped in the infamous Venus Flytrap. Combining spectacular time-lapse footage with macro live-action and computer graphics, Kingdom of Plants reveals the battles and dramas raging in the undergrowth.

Plants are one of the most overlooked living beings. The idea of Kingdom of Plants was to build plants up as the heroes of their own stories. By immersing you in their world, in a way only possible in VR, we wanted to show the magic, the savagery, the diversity, and the beauty in this stunning Kingdom.The topic of plants and their cunning ability to survive is pertinent in the era of humans dominating the planet and changing our climate. We used every tool at our disposal, from art direction and sound design, to timelapse and macro, to bring the lives of plants to the foreground. I’m honoured to have the opportunity to bring the incredible lives of plants to people across the world.
