In a world that’s constantly changing, we may suddenly need to live in a world with different values from ours in the past. This experience allows us to stop and think about how we can face this new, transforming world. Typeman has been needed by many human beings, sharing their hopes, joys, and sorrows, and spending time together. However, he has been forgotten by people and has lost the meaning of his existence. You will meet Typeman in a room of an old apartment building. When you encounter Typeman for the first time, what feelings will you have for him and how will you act toward him? When you notice the presence of someone else in the world, you will begin to think about the meaning of your being here.
In our metaverse experience, the viewers will meet Typeman, the one that has been forgotten from society. As isolation has become a serious issue in the current society, I created this piece in the hope that by sharing various emotions such as joy, sadness, and confusion with Typeman, you will blow away your sense of loneliness and rediscover your connection with others once again. I hope that by acknowledging each other’s presence through the experience, you and Typeman can understand anew the meaning of our own existence in this world.
