Biennale Danza 2016
10th Festival of Contemporary Dance
The 10th International Festival of Contemporary Dance was held from 17 to 26 June 2016, hosting in the venues at the Arsenale and in the historic center of Venice 25 dancers and choreographers. The programme was composed of 32 titles, which nine in World premieres and as many Italian premieres.
The Biennale Danza 2016 hosted fundamental figures of contemporary dance scene such as Maguy Marin, Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement 2016, alongside important choreographers belonging to the next generation and 100 young dancers of the Biennale College Danza.
