On 13 March 2025 the call for Biennale College Musica 2025, open to composers, sound artists, and performers, officially closed.
Five original and previously unreleased projects have been selected for the residency program, which will be divided into three periods: May 14–21, June 23–July 4, September 29–October 10. These works will be produced by La Biennale di Venezia and presented as part of the 69th International Festival of Contemporary Music THE STAR WITHIN (October 11–25, 2025), directed by Caterina Barbieri.
The selected artists will be supported throughout their artistic residency and creation process by the Artistic Director Caterina Barbieri and the mentors she has personally chosen: Ellen Arkbro, DeForrest Brown Jr., Chuquimamani-Condori, Thierry Coduys, Lorenzo Senni, and Marcel Weber.
