The appointment was approved by the Board of Directors of La Biennale chaired by Pietrangelo Buttafuoco for the two-year term 2025-2026.

A vibrant performance programme will animate the Arsenale during the closing week of the Biennale Arte 2024.

Two projects, dedicated to new choreographies, will be selected among the 361 applicants and will premiere as part of the Biennale Danza 2025.

The 60th International Art Exhibition is changing its opening hours from October 1 st. 

The Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement goes to composer Rebecca Saunders (27 September); the Silver Lion goes to the Ensemble Modern from Germany (29 September).
